On the last trading day of the week, Friday, after opening with a slight gain India’s benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 are seen in trading in decline. Around 12 p.m, the BSE Sensex fell by 775.56 points or 0.97% to 79,289 while the Nifty 50 was seen trading down by 280.85 points or 1.15% at 24,118.55. India’s benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, showed a decline on Friday after a volatile first hour of trading. Trading started with a slight gain, but soon Sensex and Nifty were seen trading in the end. By 10 a.m, the BSE Sensex has dropped 384.43 points or 0.48% to 79,680, while the Nifty 50 was seen trading down by 144.35 points or 0.59% at 24,255. India’s benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 opened slight gains on Friday but lost their gains within seconds. Benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 ended Thursday’s session nearly flat, with slight negativity. The Sensex closed down by 16.82 points at 80.065.16, while the Nifty 50 fell by 36.10 points to 24,399.40. However, investors’ focus will remain on quarterly results on the last trading day of the week. Gift Nifty indicated a flat start with a slight gain of 12 points at 24,464.5. The major Nikkei 225 index fell by 0.52%, while the Topix index was down 0.41%, marking its fifth consecutive day of losses. On October 24, the Sensex closed down by 0.02% or 16.82 points at 80,065.15, while the Nifty 50 fell by 0.15% or 36.10 points, closing at 24,399.40. However, the banking and financial sectors managed to prevent a larger decline.
