Sky Gold share price was trading 5% above the upper circuit on Monday, as the stock traded ex-bonus today. The Sky Gold share price surged to a high of ₹465.70 apiece, its adjusted price after bonus share issue, on the BSE. Equity shareholders of Sky Gold saw shares turned ex-date for its bonus 9:1 share issuance program today. The company has fixed the record date December 16, for issuance of bonus shares.
For every existing one fully paid-up equity share, 9 numbers of new fully paid up equity shares will be obtained.The record date is the date on which the shareholders who are eligible to receive corporate benefits such as dividends, bonus shares or stock splits will be identified. Investors holding shares in their demat account as of this record date are eligible for the corporate actions.
Due to the T+1 settlement cycle, shareholders have to buy the stock at least one day before the ex-date to be eligible for the benefits.
Earlier, it had announced Sky Gold bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 during September 2022. Sky Gold shares have given stellar returns to investors. The stock price has gained above 42% in one month and has skyrocketed near about 250% in the last six months. Its stock price has delivered multiple bagger returns of over 367% from the beginning of the year 2022 (YTD) and increased by as much as 2,200% over two years and more than 5,000% over the last three years.
At 10:00 AM, Sky Gold shares remained locked at 5 percent upper circuit of ₹ 465.70 per equity share, garnering a market capitalization of ₹6,824 crore on BSE.
