The BSE Sensex was seen trading down by 670.89 points, or 0.85%, at 78,005.08, while the Nifty 50 index dropped by 235, or 0.98% reaching 23,648. Amid weak global cues, the major indices of the Indian stock market are trading in decline on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex is seen trading down by 553.51 points, or 0.70%, at 78,121.67, while the Nifty 50 has fallen by 200.15 points, or 0.84%, reaching 23,683.30. Around 11 a.m., the BSE Sensex was seen trading down by 463.18 points, or 0.59%, at 78,212, while the Nifty 50 was trading with a drop of 169.90 points, or 0.71%, at 23,713.55. The impact of weak global cues may be seen today in India’s benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50. Gift Nifty Futures was trading down by 74 points at 23,886, indicating a weak market opening. On Tuesday, November 12, both the Sensex and Nifty closed with a decline of more than 1 per cent, with the Sensex closing at 78,675.18 and the Nifty at 23,883.45. Due to the weak trend in global markets and continuous selling by foreign investors, the Indian stock markets declined on Tuesday for the third consecutive trading kkk. Weak quarterly results from companies also affected investors’ sentiment. The BSE Sensex opened today with a slight gain at 79,644.95, but the rally didn’t last. Ultimately, the Sensex saw a significant decline of 1.03% or 820.97 points.
